How to know it is really us
Official calls and texts about your care come only from (956) 720-4490 or (956) 720-0295. If someone says they are from Heavenly Care and you are not sure, hang up and call us at (956) 720-4490.
Our staff wear a Heavenly Care ID badge. You can ask to see it.
Your choice is protected
- You always have the right to choose your home care agency.
- No one can move your services to another agency without your consent.
- To change agencies, you call your health plan. If someone wants to sit with you and make that call for you, you can say no.
- Under Texas rules, agencies may not offer you gifts, money or favors to switch agencies, and may not come to your door or call you uninvited to recruit you.
Warning signs
- Someone asks you to keep it a secret.
- Someone tells you not to answer our calls.
- Someone pushes you to call your health plan and switch right away.
We will never ask you to keep anything a secret from your family or your agency. A real agency never tells you to stop talking to your current agency. If this happens, call us.
